Those affected by the recent fire—including anyone needing psychological counselling, financial assistance, medication arrangements, temporary accommodation, food assistance, bereavement support, volunteer services, and more—may call the support hotline at 8209 8122 for help (9:00 am to 6:00 pm).

 


 

FundraisingS.K.H. Act of Love 1126 Fire Disaster Support Fund

The Welfare Council has activated the S.K.H. Act of Love 1126 Fire Disaster Support Fund fundraising platform to provide timely assistance. All donations received (with no administrative fees deducted) will be used to offer cash grants or essential supplies to affected individuals and families, helping them cover urgent needs such as daily necessities, medical costs, and temporary accommodation.

 

*Fraudsters are impersonating the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Welfare Council using fake links and webpages, claiming to raise funds for the Tai Po Wang Fuk Court fire. Please DO NOT click on any suspicious links!

【Emergency Funeral Grant & Bereavement SupportThe Holy Carpenter Church Hospice and Bereavement Service | Emergency Funeral Grant & Bereavement Support

The Service is now providing the following emergency support for those affected by the fire:

  1. Emergency Funeral Grant: Providing emergency funeral assistance for the victims of the Tai Po fire.
  2. Bereavement Support: Professional social workers and experienced volunteers, with expertise in sudden death support, will accompany family members to the mortuary for body identification, assist family members of all ages in processing the news of the death, provide practical advice on funeral arrangements, and offer companionship throughout the bereavement process.
