In collaboration with different pharmaceutical companies, the H.K.S.K.H. Lady MacLehose Community Pharmacy ("The Pharmacy") is dedicated provide drug subsidization schemes. The Pharmacy helped the persons from low-income families and elderly save over $5 million of drug costs each year, which benefitted the society. The Pharmacy proactively extends the scope to have more types of drugs being subsidized.

Drug counselling and advisory services were also provided by pharmacists, teaching the patients and their carer how to take and store their various drugs properly.

Dental Clinic

Introduction

The two dental clinics of the Organization, one located at the Kwai Chung Headquarters and the other at the S.K.H. Crown of Thorns Church, provide dental care services while also focusing on raising public awareness of oral health among grassroots communities through education, thereby promoting early treatment. In response to the substantial and growing demand for dental services in the district, both dental clinics have also joined the Department of Health's Community Dental Support Programme, offering subsidized dental services to disadvantaged groups and encouraging regular oral checkups and timely treatment.

Caring optometric service

The caring optometric service has become a regular service. Through collaboration with community caring shops, we arranged registered optometrists to provide basic optometric services for elderly in poverty. Eligible persons can get the prescribed glasses at discounted price, making the best use of the medical-social collaborative service model. We also regularly organize educational programmes on proper eyecare to raise public awareness on eyecare.
