Jockey Club Cancer Care for Survivors Project

Project Objectives:

 

With a donation from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, H.K.S.K.H. Lady MacLehose Centre has launched the three-year project ‘Jockey Club Cancer Care for Survivors Project’ in January 2026. Coordinated by The University of Hong Kong Jockey Club Institute of Cancer Care, the project aims to build a sustainable community support network for cancer survivors who have completed treatment. By connecting survivors with community resources, we provide comprehensive physical and psychological health management and help reduce the risk of cancer recurrence.

 

 

Eligibility:

 

Adult cancer survivors who have completed treatment (surgery, chemotherapy, or radiotherapy) within the past three years; and

living in Tsuen Wan, Kwai Tsing, Tuen Mun, Yuen Long and Tin Shui Wai district.

 

 

Service Overview:

 

Provides physical symptom management, weight management and psychological counseling by nurse, social worker, and fitness coach according to individual needs assessment.
